Today after celebrating and giving appreciation to The Most High, Today I want to start a new journey. I must admit that after a recent birthday, I do appreciate the wishes however aside from close family, I do not care to hear the acknowledgment personally.
I want to admit that after 9 years of photography off and on before 2011 as a hobby, I want my work, art, talent & service to speak for itself. I also want those attributes to sell as well. I am on a mission to reach and work with people that appreciate my work and that’s willing to spend the money on my art, service, and talent.
I own DSoul Fotography and KalonGasm Fotography. KalonGasm is my boudoir work. I will begin to use some of my KalonGasm work on my main DSoul Fotography brand. I will photograph anything that’s appealing and artistic to my eyes. Art is subjective. Everyone has their opinion on what’s artist and what’s not. Anything in my eyes that’s artistic to me from this point on will be on DSoul Fotography. If you like the certain image or looking to book, I will be able to provide you a way to obtain that image or provide my services to you.
If I capture someone like a nude model in an artistic way for example, to someone they may say,”hey it’s a beautiful capture.” To someone that may not be understanding or maybe narrow-minded they may say,”That looks like porn.” That is their opinion and their right to judge it for what it is to their eyes, however, it doesn’t bother me because, in the grand scheme of things, those types of people are not my client or market I am trying to reach. It makes no sense to complain or cry about someone not understanding my work because it may not be conservative for them. Those are not the people I would like on my team.
I am only promoting/marketing/networking my gallery to ultimately reach people who love my work and wants to hire me to capture them whether it’s for portraits, events, artistic, business, etc.
I have come to the conclusion that I am a photographer and I am an artist. It’s my passion to capture what I see in my eyes and record the image into my camera for memories of a lifetime. I will close with this motivation piece:
“Positive people will make do what they have even with very little. Negative people will wimp out and break camp especially if they don’t see light at the end of the tunnel or get results quick, fast and in a hurry. If you do not have someone that’s hating or trolling you, then you’re not doing something right. You will become stagnant if all that naysayers and haters stop talking. People that hate on you, makes you a better person because they make you think better, come up with different ideas, inspires you to be innovative, motivates you and provide you with materials to work with. They help you promote you, your brand, business etc. Let it flow, Allow them to continue to talk and promote you because it’s free advertising.”
